Gdansk Medical University (GUMed) is a public medical university located in the city of Gdansk, Poland. It was founded in 1945 as the Higher School of Medicine and Dentistry and became the Gdansk Medical Academy in 1950. In 2009, it was granted university status and became known as Gdansk Medical University.
