Applied Computer Science

Applied Computer Science is an online, English-taught programme delivered by Warsaw University of Technology. The studies are conducted fully remotely via the Internet and focus on modern and practical applications of computer science in business and engineering environments.

The programme covers a wide range of advanced IT topics, including software engineering, advanced database systems, ethical artificial intelligence, business process modelling, data warehouses and data visualisation, and large-scale sustainable software engineering.

Students also develop knowledge in physics, IT management projects, and specialised laboratory courses. In addition, the programme offers elective modules that allow students to specialise in areas such as UX/UI design, low-code software development, neural network applications in business, cybersecurity, practical use of language models, and startup entrepreneurship.

Graduates gain comprehensive skills in analysing, designing, modelling, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems. They are prepared to work in dynamic technology environments and adapt quickly to evolving IT trends.
