6-Year MD Program | Medical University of Warsaw

The 6-year MD Program at the Medical University of Warsaw is designed for high school or university graduates, providing a globally recognized medical diploma. This program is taught entirely in English and consists of 12 semesters with a total of 360 ECTS credits.

Curriculum Structure and Clinical Training

The program is divided into 3 pre-clinical and 3 clinical years:

• Clinical Placement: Hands-on training occurs at 6 university clinical hospitals and affiliated institutions across Warsaw.
• Student Skills Register: Students track and demonstrate skills essential for modern medical practice.
• USMLE Eligibility: Pre-clinical students may sit for USMLE Step I, while those completing clinical training are eligible for USMLE Step II.

Tuition Payment Policy

• Flexibility: Tuition fees can be paid in full or in installments with the Dean’s approval.
• Deadlines: Installment applications must be submitted separately for each academic year, no later than October 9th.
• Important Note: Opting for installments may result in a higher overall tuition fee and potential interest charges on late payments. Students are advised to review the policy carefully.

Accreditation and Global Recognition

Graduates earn the title of Medical Doctor (MD). The program is fully recognized by the Polish Ministry of Health and accredited by major international bodies, including the U.S. Department of Education, The Medical Board of California, The Malaysian Medical Council, and The Medical Council of Thailand, ensuring graduates are prepared for international practice.
