The Premedical Course at the Medical University of Gdansk is designed for high school graduates who wish to pursue a medical education but have not taken all the necessary science courses required for successful preparation to medical school. The course is divided into two semesters, beginning in October 2023 and ending in May 2024. Graduation from the Premedical Course gives participants the opportunity to be accepted into the 6-year M.D. program at the Medical University of Gdansk in the academic year 2024/2025. The course is conducted in English and includes a full set of textbooks and additional health insurance.
To apply for the course, candidates must register and fill out an online application form, which will be available from April 15, 2023. The deadline for applications is August 31, 2023. Candidates must also submit the required documents by regular mail to the Admissions Office at the Medical University of Gdansk between April 15, 2023, and August 31, 2023. The admission committee selects candidates based on their scores from high school diploma in biology and one selected subject from chemistry, physics, and mathematics or relevant subjects, as well as their level of English language skills.
Candidates for a 6-year M.D. program at the Medical University of Gdansk who have not been accepted are welcome to apply for the Premedical Course. The documents required in the admission process include a signed application form in English and Polish language, a copy of high school diploma with transcript of grades or its equivalent in the candidate's native language certified by the candidate's school or a public notary, an English translation of the above original document, translated and certified by candidate's school or a sworn translator (does not apply to documents in English or Polish), a copy of the applicant's passport, and a certificate confirming English language skills.
The total fee for the Premedical Course is 33 000 PLN, which includes a full set of textbooks and additional health insurance.
