Spatial Planning specialisation: Smart Environmental Planning and Design

Spatial Planning (specialisation: Smart Environmental Planning and Design) at Warsaw University of Technology is a second-cycle (Master’s) programme designed to prepare specialists in modern spatial, urban, and environmental planning.

The programme focuses on integrating sustainability, digital technologies, and strategic planning approaches to develop innovative solutions for cities, regions, and natural environments. Students learn how to support decision-making processes that shape the relationship between human systems and natural ecosystems in a responsible and future-oriented way.

A strong emphasis is placed on the use of geospatial technologies (GIS, remote sensing), BIM, CAD tools, big data analytics, and digital planning methods, enabling students to model, simulate, and analyse spatial processes.
