Physics – Master’s Degree Programme

Physics at the University of Silesia combines sophisticated experiments, advanced computational techniques (including machine learning), and theoretical models to explore the unknown. This 2-year Master’s program is conducted entirely in English and is closely integrated with the scientific activities of the A. Chełkowski Institute of Physics.

Specialization: Nanophysics and Mesoscopic Materials

A unique Double Diploma program conducted in partnership with the University of Le Mans (France).

• Joint Degree: Graduates receive a Master of Physics from the University of Silesia and a Master of Physics and Nanomaterials from the University of Le Mans.
• French Internship: The 4th semester involves a mandatory 210-hour research internship at Le Mans University, supported by Erasmus+ and French Embassy grants.
• Focus: World-class research on low-dimensional systems, nanoparticles, and thin layers.
