The Organic Agriculture and Food Production program at SGGW’s Faculty of Agriculture and Biology provides a holistic and interdisciplinary understanding of organic systems. Curriculum and Practical Experience

The six-semester (3-year) program covers the entire spectrum of organic production, from soil health to final consumer products. Key areas of study include:

• Environmental Stewardship: Agroecology, environmental protection, and sustainable food systems.
• Production Science: Organic plant breeding and organic livestock production.
• Quality and Compliance: Food safety, hygiene, and international food legislation.
• Field Work: Integration of theoretical knowledge with practical experience through study trips to professional organic farms.

Admission Requirements

Prospective students must qualify based on:

• Subject Proficiency: Results in secondary school exit exams (Matura or equivalent) in Biology, Chemistry, or Mathematics.
• Language Skills: Confirmed proficiency in English (B2 level).

Career Outcomes

Graduates receive a Bachelor's degree and 180 ECTS credits. They are equipped to excel in various sectors of the organic food industry, including:
