The tourism industry is one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic sectors of the global economy, with enormous potential for job creation and economic growth. In response to this, the Vincent Pol University offers a two-year full-time International Tourism MA degree programme that prepares students to meet the requirements of the job market by providing them with practical training opportunities locally, nationally, and internationally.
Students have the opportunity to choose one of two interesting specialities: International Hospitality Management or International Tourism Management, which allows them to specialise in their chosen areas of interest. The career paths are quite varied, thanks to the interesting modules of studies. Career opportunities include food and beverage management, marketing of tourist services, investment in tourism and hospitality, international tourism business, taxes and insurance, organization of tourism, entrepreneurship, advertising of tourist products, and strategies in hospitality and tourism management.
The programme also offers a range of additional modules, including management of human resources, intercultural communication, Chinese/Spanish language courses, international PR, personal development, managing customers and clients, leisure time management, heritage tourism, sustainable tourism, active tourism, research methods in tourism, and IT in tourism.
