The Master’s program in International Economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, provides advanced academic training in global economic relations and trends. Admission and Selection Process

The program is open to holders of Bachelor’s, Engineering, or Master’s degrees from any field. The selection process is rigorous and focuses on prior academic and research merit:

• Letter of Research Experience: Applicants must submit a letter, verified by project supervisors, detailing their involvement in at least two research projects. This document must specify the nature of the candidate's contribution and project data (Maximum 30 points).
• Subject-Based Evaluation: The Admission Committee evaluates up to seven subjects from the candidate's previous studies. These may include:
• Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematical Statistics, Probability Calculus, Econometrics, Mathematical Analysis, International Economic Relations, and other economic topics.
• Each selected subject must carry at least 3 ECTS credits or consist of 30 contact hours.
• Scoring System: Points are awarded based on the final grades of the selected subjects and the prestige ("Research University" status) of the awarding institution.
• English Proficiency: A recognized certificate confirming at least a B2 level of English is mandatory.

Academic Standards

The program ensures a high standard of education by selecting only the most qualified candidates through its point-based ranking system. Students must provide certified syllabi of their selected subjects to verify the academic content before completing the registration procedure.
