Green Technologies

This is a Bachelor of Science program in Green Technologies offered by Gdansk University of Technology, Faculty of Chemistry. The degree to be obtained is Engineer, and the program lasts for 3.5 years (7 semesters) with a total of 211 ECTS points. The program is taught in English. The program aims to equip students with advanced knowledge in designing and supervising environmentally friendly technologies, using eco-friendly and renewable energy sources, waste-free technologies, and providing expert opinions on the harmfulness of technologies to the environment. The entry requirements are a secondary school certificate and state exam/matriculation results, and career opportunities include laboratory-based employment, environmental regulatory bodies, government agencies, chemical or process engineer, quality control, and quality management.

Entry requirements

Secondary school certificate (obligatory) and state exam/matriculation results (if applicable) which entitle the candidate to apply for a bachelor's degree in the country, where the secondary education was obtained. Subjects considered in the formula for calculating the candidate’s points: mathematics, modern foreign language, physics or chemistry.

• Any laboratory-based employment, such as laboratory technician/assistant. Any work in any environmental regulatory bodies, or government agencies.
