The Green Energy Master's program at Poznan University of Technology is a 1.5-year program (3 semesters) that starts in February each year. The program is designed for students who want to receive an engineering education that corresponds to the needs of sustainable development and the growing role of problems related to ecological production, transmission, distribution, and use of energy.
The program offers courses in various fields, including electrical power engineering, thermal technology, economics, and environmental engineering. The curriculum consists of regular courses focused on issues related to green and renewable energy, environmental protection, and electric power engineering. Classes on modeling and simulation are also included.
In addition to regular courses, students have the opportunity to select elective courses during their studies, such as European Union Strategies in Energy Supply, Energy and Buildings, or others. Graduates of the program are prepared to work in companies operating in the field of energy systems and institutions related to the production, processing, transmission, and distribution of energy, as well as energy management in industry and construction.
The language of instruction is English, and applicants are required to have a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent and English language proficiency at level B2 (Common European Framework). The deadline for application is three months before the course starts, which is at the end of November. The mode of instruction includes lectures, classes, laboratory classes, and projects.
