This program was developed based on a decade of experience in the international design environment and the integration of creative activities into the internet sphere, alongside the intensive development of blended learning methodologies.
Anticipating the growth of the design market for the internet and intelligent environments, the program prepares graduates to work within an international community, effectively communicating with digital tools in a complex reality that encompasses both our physical and virtual surroundings.
The educational foundation of the program rests on three key components:
- Humanistic-theoretical: To help students understand customs and communication principles within a multicultural world.
- Artistic-design: To teach students how to effectively solve design problems in a complex reality.
- IT: To equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to utilize existing IT tools and techniques.
Classes and workshops are led by artists, designers, and engineers from diverse nationalities, cultures, and academic backgrounds. The design challenges explored extend beyond local contexts, offering students a global perspective on the contemporary designer's role in addressing the needs of civilization. Selected projects, developed in collaboration with companies and institutions, are realized and implemented, providing students with practical opportunities to test their skills throughout their studies.
The field of study focuses on the practical application and development of design and art skills through the use of modern applications for creating visual works in both 2D and 3D environments. Students in this major work daily with software such as Unity, Blender, Maya, TouchDesigner, and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
