English Studies

The second cycle of courses for the English Studies program is structured into three modules that provide students with a well-rounded education in English language and literature:

Module 1: Fundamentals - This module covers mandatory courses in Practical English to develop students' proficiency in the language.

Module 2: Specialization - Students are given the flexibility to choose a second cycle thesis seminar and additional courses from a range of areas such as General Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Linguistic Pragmatics, Translation Studies, British and American Literature, and Culture.

Module 3: Advanced courses - This module provides students with advanced training in specialized areas such as Culture, Media, and Communication. Additionally, students have the opportunity to receive professional training in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Translation, or Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language, provided that they have competence in the Polish language.

Upon completing the program, graduates will be equipped with a variety of skills and knowledge to work in fields such as education, media, translation, and more. They will also be prepared to pursue further academic studies if desired.
