Electronics and Telecommunications

The Electronics and Telecommunications (E&T) B.Sc. program at Poznan University of Technology in Poland is a 3.5-year (7 semesters) program that provides students with knowledge in electronics, communication and computer networks, mobile communications, and multimedia. The program covers subjects such as mathematics, algorithms, physics, programming in C and C++, digital systems design, and optical and switching networks.

Graduates of the program have competencies in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, and Matlab to solve communication and electronic tasks. They are familiar with optoelectronic circuits and systems, TV, antennas, and microwaves. Graduates are also able to configure computer and wireless networks effectively.

The program is finalized with a diploma thesis on a selected topic in electronics and telecommunications. Graduates are prepared to work in industries and services associated with modern electronics, communications, and informatics. They are also directly prepared for M.Sc. studies in E&T.

The program is taught in English, and the university participates in the EU Erasmus+ Exchange Program, allowing students to spend a semester abroad at universities in foreign countries to master their language competencies, professional skills, and learn a different way of life and studies. The deadline for applications is in the middle of July, and the program begins at the end of September and ends at the end of February.
