Data engineering helps achieve this goal by combining the experience and expertise of two areas: information technology and management. Students of this field of study will learn how to deal with large amounts of data from different sources and how to interpret them. All this is based on computer programs and algorithms and knowledge of mathematics, statistics and economics.
