Chemical Technology

The Bachelor’s degree programme in Chemical Technology at Poznan University of Technology is a comprehensive and practice-oriented programme that combines chemistry with engineering applications. The programme is offered by the Faculty of Chemical Technology. It is a full-time first-cycle programme taught in English and lasts 7 semesters. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Science degree.

The main goal of the Chemical Technology programme is to prepare students for the production, development and supervision of chemical products on an industrial scale. Students learn how to analyse chemical processes used in modern technologies, plan production stages, follow quality and safety requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs of industry.

Internships are an important part of the study experience. Students complete a 6-week internship after the sixth semester. In addition, international programmes such as Erasmus+, EUNICE and IAESTE can provide students with opportunities for internships and traineeships abroad.
