    PWSFTviT-The Polish National Film, Television  and Theatre School  was established in Lodz, Poland, in 1948. The school offers courses in film directing, cinematography, animation, film producing, acting, editing, screenwriting and still photography. The studies last for 5 years; graduates receive an MA degree. Education for about 400 students is focused on practice, shooting with 35mm, HD and digital cameras. Other facilities: lighting equipment, film studios, television studio, editing rooms,  sound studio, screening rooms, the film archive, student theatre, hostel. Our graduates are, film directors: Andrzej Wajda, Roman Polanski, Andrzej Munk,Krzysztof Kieslowski, Jerzy Skolimowski, Krzysztof Zanussi, Zbigniew Rybczynski. Lots of our student films get prizes at international film festivals such as: Cannes, New York, Clermont-Ferrand, Moscow, Beijing, St.Petersburg, Poitiers, Los Angeles, Mexico, Taipei, Tel Aviv, Barcelona and many others. To international candidates the school offers courses in film and television direction and cinematography (DP) as well as in editing and animation.
